Animal Action Week – October 1 – 7, 2007
Theme: To the Rescue – Emergency Relief for Animals
Organised by: IFAW (International Fund for Animal Welfare) in association with WTI (Wildlife Trust of India)
Goals: Education, awareness, campaigning.
Students are actively participating in the programme by signing a ‘Climate Change Pledge’, whereby they will do all they can to combat climate change by-
Refusing, reducing, reusing and recycling
Saving energy
Cutting wasteful travel
Encouraging others to change
They are also participating in a competition where they have to paint one of the many animal species that IFAW-WTI has rescued from natural disasters.
The school sent up 166 students for the ISC Examination 2007. 36% have scored above 90%. For the ICSE
Examination 2007, 35.5% of the 155 students who appeared for the exam, scored 90% and above.
